Overview
If you wrote a complicated Key Result and later realize it should fall under another Objective, you can either copy it to keep it in both locations or move it so it exists only in the new Objective.
You can choose to copy the Key Result, which keeps it in both the original location and the new Objective, or move it, which transfers it exclusively to the new Objective without duplication.
Time Periods
Please note that the Objective you are copying from and to must be of the same time period in order to copy the key result from one to the other.
Permissions
You need edit access to both the OKRs you're copying from and to in order to copy the key result over.
You need to be a manager or admin of both teams to which you want to copy the KR. Note: The timeframe for both OKRs must be the same to copy or move a Key Result.
Copy or Move Key Results to Another Objective
Hover over the key result you'd like to copy.
In the Kebab menu, select Copy key result. mceclip0.png
Search for the objective to which you want to copy the KR. mceclip1.png
Once you've found the intended objective, optionally select the option to carry over updates and comments from the original KR, and/or to only move result to new objective.
Activate the Copy button.
If you select the "Only move result to new objective" option, the KR will be transferred exclusively to the new Objective without duplication. Additionally, you can choose to carry over updates and comments from the original KR to the new Objective.
