The WorkBoardAI agent already understands an organization's OKRs, workstreams, and team structure. With Agent Global Data, it can also understand an organization's Jira, Salesforce, and Azure DevOps data - connected once for the entire organization rather than person by person.
Once an administrator connects a source and shares it with a team, individual users need no further setup. Team members can ask their agent about the team's backlog, the pipeline, or open work items, and the agent already has the relevant context.

Connecting a data source through Agent Global Data requires the IT Policy role in WorkBoard
Connect Jira Data
Connecting Jira through Agent Global Data gives the people it is shared with visibility into an organization's projects, epics, and tickets through their agent, without requiring each person to connect Jira individually.
Navigate to Admin Tools → Agent Global Data → Connectors.
Select Jira, select an auth option, complete the flow and then click Add new to create a connection.
Name the connection, and choose how to pull data - Projects, Advanced JQL, or Epics.
Select the specific projects (or enter the query) to include.
Under Share with, select the people, teams, or groups who should have access. Access is always scoped to the selection made here; it is never opened to the entire organization by default.
Review the connection details, then click Finish setup.
Connect Salesforce Data
Connecting Salesforce through Agent Global Data lets the people it is shared with understand an organization's accounts, pipeline, and customer activity through their agent.
Navigate to Admin Tools → Agent Global Data → Connectors.
Select Salesforce, then click Add new to create a connection.
Choose what to connect: reports, accounts, opportunities, or leads.
Under Share with, select the people, teams, or groups who should have access.
Review the connection details, then click Finish setup.
Connect Azure DevOps Data
Connecting Azure DevOps through Agent Global Data gives the people it is shared with visibility into an organization's work items through their agent, for execution tracking.
Navigate to Admin Tools → Agent Global Data → Connectors.
Select Azure DevOps, then click Add new to create a connection.
Choose specific work items, or connect a saved query.
Under Share with, select the people, teams, or groups who should have access.
Review the connection details, then click Finish setup.
Syncing data is not instant. It can take a few hours for newly connected or newly shared data to become fully available in an Agent.
Manage Agent Global Data Connections
From Admin Tools → Agent Global Data → Connectors, administrators can view each connector's status, connection count, and last sync time. Opening a connector allows connections to be added or removed, or sharing settings to be updated, without reconnecting the entire source.
What Team Members Will See
When a connection has been shared with a team member, it appears automatically under Agent Settings → Data access, alongside any connections added individually. From there, team members can review what has been shared with them and turn off any connection that is not relevant, without losing access to anything else.
Important Notes
Access granted through Agent Global Data is always scoped to the specific people, teams, or groups it is shared with. There is no setting that opens a connection to an entire organization by default.
Syncing is not instant. It can take a few hours for newly connected or newly shared data to become fully available in an agent.
Access is managed independently within WorkBoard, separate from permissions in Jira, Salesforce, or Azure DevOps.
Connecting data to an individual agent remains available and continues to work as it always has, alongside anything shared through Agent Global Data.
