Org Branding Skill

Give WorkBoardAI's agents your brand's colors, fonts, and tone so every dashboard and document looks like yours.

Your organization can give WorkBoardAI one set of branding guidelines: colors, fonts and tone of voice. Your agents then use them automatically whenever they create something for you. Dashboards and documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF) come out looking like your company made them.

How it works

Every time an agent builds a dashboard or document, it first checks your organization's branding guidelines and applies them.

  • If your organization has added its own branding skill, agents use it.

  • If it hasn't, agents will the use WorkBoard's default style: clean blues, readable fonts and clear status colors. You always get a polished result, even before you set anything up.

Your branding applies to everyone's agents across your whole organization.

Your guidelines change colors, fonts and tone. The overall layout, spacing and structure stay the same, so dashboards keep working well on every screen size.

Who can set it up

Only Org Admins, and people with the AI and IT Policy Admin role can add, edit or remove your organization's branding.

Each organization can have one branding skill at a time. The set up assumes that you already have a branding skill (typically an markdown file) that you can upload.

If you don't have a branding skill, upload a document that mimics your branding, or screenshots to your chief of staff, and ask your Chief of Staff agent to give you the text you can use to create a branding skill.

Add your branding

  1. In the Admin tool, go to Agent Skills and open the Branding Guidelines tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Fill in:

    • Name: only your admins see this, for example "Acme brand guidelines."

    • Description (optional): a short note for other admins.

    • Guidelines: describe your brand in plain language, up to 10,000 characters. Agents read this text directly, so be specific (see the tips below).

  4. Click Add branding skill.

  5. This branding skill will now be the branding that everyone's agent in your organization will default to as Agents create documents (PPT, word etc.) and also as they generate dashboards.

Tips for writing good guidelines

  • Use exact colors. Hex codes like #1A73E8 work better than "our blue." Say what each color is for, such as primary, accent or background.

  • Name your fonts. Agents use the closest standard font that's safe to use on the web, so your documents look right on any device.

  • Keep it focused. List your must-haves first. Short, clear rules work better than long brand books.

Edit or remove your branding

  • Edit: open the Branding Guidelines tab and update your skill. Changes apply to new dashboards and documents right away.

  • Remove: delete the skill, and agents switch back to WorkBoard's default style immediately. To replace your branding with a new version, remove the current one first, then add the new one.

FAQ

Can different teams have different branding?

Each organization has one set of branding guidelines that applies everywhere. People can add their own branding skills specific to their own teams and ask the agent to use a specific branding skill instead of the org level one in their prompts.

My guidelines were rejected when I saved.

WorkBoard checks guidelines for security before saving them. Remove anything that looks like code or instructions not about style, and try again.
