Automated Scorecards

Summary

Scorecard Automation allows you to create a Scorecard that automatically and dynamically shows Key Results based on criteria you define, so you never have to manually curate your list again. This is especially useful for making Scorecards for a specific team that doesn't have to be reset every quarter.

Create an Automated Scorecard

  1. Click Create in the top navigation (or New > Scorecard from the Scorecard landing page).

  2. In the right-side edit panel, click Create Automation.

  3. Set your filters to define which Key Results should appear.

  4. Click Save to apply your automation.

  5. Optionally click the Columns tab to add, remove, or reorder which attributes are displayed.

  6. Give your scorecard a title and share it with your team.

Filter Highlights

Use any combination of filters to build a dynamic view. Popular options include:

  • Team — show KRs belonging to one or more specific teams

  • RAG Status — surface at-risk, on-plan, or above-plan results

  • Freshness — find KRs that are overdue for an update

  • Time Period — filter by fiscal year, quarter, or a custom date range

  • Contributor — filter by KR owner or updater

  • Tags — group results by tag

  • Objective Keyword / KR Keyword — match by name or phrase

Adding multiple filters allows you to narrow down your results — for example, "All at-risk KRs for the Marketing team in Q2 that haven't been updated recently."

Advanced Customization

In the Advanced options section of the Filters panel, three toggles give you precise control over how your scorecard behaves:

  • Add items automatically — when on, any KR that matches your filter criteria is automatically added to the scorecard.

  • Remove items automatically — when on, KRs that no longer match your criteria are automatically removed.

  • Auto-sort items based on OKR order — when on (the default), KRs are ordered to match the sort order defined in the OKR platform. Turn this off to arrange rows manually via drag and drop.

These toggles work independently, so you can mix and match. For example, you can have KRs added and removed automatically while still maintaining your own custom row order.
